This isn't always guaranteed as the races are pretty fast and you can go from 1st to last right at the end. Each course is roughly 3,500-4,000 metres in length and for normal races you can easily get 500-600 coins, as long as you race on 1000hp and win. At the “end” of the game I had raced just over 500 races and so a rough estimate would mean you would look at needing to race 2,500-3,000 races to grind out the below two trophies. In my case I had finished all of the game modes with both of the below trophies at around 20%, meaning that after the game was basically complete I still had 80% of these trophies to grind. Each day the prize money rises up to a maximum of 3,000 coins for day 7:īy now you will have nearly all the other trophies but even if you haven't, then don't worry as the next two will require a lot of grinding. Once you know how the game works, then none of these are particularly taxing and are easily achievable after a few attempts. You can take part in the daily challenge as many times as you need to get but once you get the requirements for it and the daily challenge coin bonus, it then becomes locked out until the next day's challenge. On the main screen there is a Daily challenge, this is a random event and each day this changes. Play through Career mode, levelling up your car and unlocking characters and when you get 3 stars for every level in Career mode you should end up with all of the following trophies:-ĭepending on how good you are at racing games and with a bit of luck you might have unlocked the following trophies as well during your Career playthrough:-ĭuring all of these races try and keep an eye out on the criteria for the following trophies and try to get them when you can to avoid having to grind for them later on:-īy now you should have a good handle on the game so you can look at the Championships game mode, basically this is 4 championships with each car and you need to win 5 of them at 1000hp level to unlock the relevant trophies:-Īfter you have completed Career and Championship mode you may have some of the following trophies but you will likely need to keep replaying levels to get some or all of these:. Your main batch of trophies comes from getting 3 stars on every level of career mode (apart from the second to last level because that doesn't have a trophy for getting all the stars for some reason) and the rest of the trophies come from doing various things that are either level, driver or situation dependent.īefore you start racing go to the upgrade screen and choose paint car for a quick and easy trophy:. There are also various special levels which are marked on a different score, these are Shooting Gallery (Hitting targets with missiles), Stampede (Ramming into things for points), Boost Blitz (1 lap using boosts as quickly as possible), Follow the Leader (collecting bubbles dropped by a kart in front) and Elimination (last place person drops out).Īt the top of the screen in the right hand corner there is a handy counter of the trophies and the game even gives you either a running total of your progress for each trophy or it breaks it down into percentages for you so you can see how near or far you are away from getting your next ping. Like a lot of kart racing games, you are awarded stars for each race with 1 star for third, 2 for second and 3 for first. Start with Career as it will give you the basics of the game and whilst you can start with the Championships you really want to upgrade your Kart first as whilst not impossible Championships can be harder with a basic Kart. The controls are your standard racing controls of for accelerate, for brake, for weapon fire/menu selection and for your special weapon. Upon loading the game you will be presented with a fairly standard options screen for a racing game, with Career and Championships being the main two that you will be interested in.
